I have had the pleasure of using South End Catering for a fine dining event held at my home. Chef Ricky and his staff are consummate professionals. First and foremost, he provides dining options that work within the confines of your budget. That being said the quality of the end product is always great. Whether it be a simple or complex dish you can be rest assured the food and desserts will taste delicious. I was extremely pleased with his overall flexibility when coming up with the menu, the services he rendered and the way he ensured my kitchen was returned to the clean state he started in. Chef Ricky leverages his southern cooking sensibilities along with his classically trained skills to deliver some really authentic and tasty dishes. I highly recommend him and will be using him again in the near future!
Chef Ricky’s meal prep service is invaluable to me as a busy working mother with lots of demands on my time. The food is delicious with great portion sizes. If you find yourself short on time, but you still want well balanced delicious home cooked meals, you can’t do any better than this.

“Chef Ricky did an amazing job catering our corporate brunch in Baltimore, MD. The menu was perfectly pleasing to everyone’s palate. Among the offerings were curry chicken salad, salmon spread, and three kinds of quiches. The curry chicken salad was a hit – deliciously moist, tender and very flavorful. The salmon spread was delicately prepared and well balanced with morsels of fresh salmon and finely chopped dill – even those who were not salmon-eaters thought it was excellent. His business, South End Catering is located in Montclair, New Jersey.
